3/3/2009 Smiling cityWhile living in a cosmopolitan city, such as Paris, you'll often find people so stressed, not so kind from appearance. That's specially true in the case of Paris, deserving a so called "Exception culturelle"! How could it be wonderfull, a PARIS without Parisian!! you may only hear that at this gorgeous city. Well in my case, as nature smiling person, i find this city really charming, but not really smiling. At least when that was not you who give a smile first. Last week, on Tuesday I think, by going out of my office. I dicover a sunny Paris, oh splendid! Could not help smiling all the way long to my RDV with a friend. And at that moment in the subway, a madame, a parisian like chic lady, began to smile to me, "Your shoes are gorgeous! where did u get them?" Wah, fashion victim she should be. So I began to exchange some words with her, before we exchange our favorite shopping adresses for shoes, till getting out the underground and continuing our walking. OH smiling magic! A little bit later at that day, by the beginning of the evening, which is supposed to a cocktail time. Unless I was alone in a very cosy beautifully decorated SAINT GERMAIN DES PRES bar with a bouquet of fresh anemone, so delicious that i wanted to keep it for myself instead of offering to the host of dinner.Well, by the way, yes i was invited to a diner in a very BCBG district of Paris. And bad thing is i arrived in advance!! So why the first scene descript above. What a sad scene! Well, at that moment, a nice garcon came to me, offering a very nice smile.God smiling garcon in Paris! I ordered with enthousiasm a cup of white wine. Soon later, a nice cup arrived with some nice crackers. - " Are you drinking alone at this hour, it should be party time!" - "Oh yes, the just problem is I arrived too early for Party which will take place in half an hour!" - " Cool! do you like to read some newspaper or magazines?" - " OH, it;s so nice of you. I may just need a pen and a piece of note paper pls!" (+ smile, of course) - " Sure, with pleasure!" ... Half an hour later, time to leave. I left enough tip on the table, and wrote down on the note paper: "Merci, :)" And went out with smile... I felt the eyes behind... Oh, Smiling power!:) Weina, Paris, the 3rd March 2009 Comments (3)
